Banco Santander Central Hispano, Commerzbank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Sanpaolo IMI and Societe Generale have formed an online portal described as meeting the short term investment and capital market needs of European companies. It is designed for companies trading across Europe. The portal goes by the name of 'Centradia'.
The portal is said to be currently under test and to be launched shortly. All of the banks are linked to BSCH through crossholdings. Whilst there has been much talk of international bank alliances BSCH are one of the few who have successfully created anything much beyond basic correspondent facilities.
